Roles & Responsibilities
The Innovation Eco-system Development team drives the effort to strengthen the ecosystem for Singapore enterprises to become more innovation-led. We focus on identifying and catalysing local and regional opportunities for market-led innovation, to strengthen Singapore’s position as an innovation and startup hub.
You will work with a dynamic team that develops and implements initiatives that help startups and small-medium enterprises to innovate and develop differentiated offerings for commercialisation. You will work with and analyse data to support innovation and enterprise schemes, such as open innovation challenges that address industry challenges while benefiting local enterprises.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with data owners to establish common understanding for data processing
- Supporting the confluence of different data sources on a technical level, which involves pre-processing and integration
- Deriving key business insights to supplement workflows and decision-making with a data-driven perspective, through data analysis and building visualisations to communicate value
- Developing a Tableau indicator dashboard to summarise scheme performance
- Developing a recommender engine to match innovative solvers with suitable capabilities to demand drivers
- Other product / project management responsibilities, where required
- Skillsets in Data Management / Data Science / Analytics and a good understanding of Relational Database Management Systems, with proficiency in MS Excel and Access, Python, SQL and Tableau. While working experience is preferred, our team prioritises individuals who possess enthusiasm and the right attitude to learn on the job.
- Knowledge of AGILE (SCRUM methodology) product / project management
- Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills, as well as strategic thinking skills
- Independent, resourceful, and self-motivated, with interest in Singapore’s innovation and enterprise ecosystem
