As a Barclays Credit Trader, you’ll be part of the The US Credit Trading business, which covers clients across the globe transacting in USD-denominated US High Grade, US High Yield and Latin American credit. The majority of the team is based in New York, with additional Traders in Singapore pricing this product to clients in the Asia-Pac and European regions and managing the credit risk outside of the US time zone. The Asia-Pac client base consists of insurance companies, asset-managers, banks, wealth funds, hedge funds and private banks.

**What will you be doing?**
- Assisting in market making of US HG, HY Cash Credit, LatAm Cash Credit and US Municipal Bonds into the Asia-Pac client base
- Assisting in risk management of the Global US HG, HY Credit Trading and LatAm Credit Trading books during non-US trading hours
- Increasing online product offering through collaboration with NY Trading & IT
- Further developing and enhancing key post-trade statistics and analytics for monthly & quarterly distribution to key stakeholders
- Developing direct contact with Asia client base through conference call updates, client visits and other marketing
- Communicating with Asia and European Sales teams to promote key desk axes, generic markets and overnight trends

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proficient understanding and proven ability to effectively trade, risk manage and sell fixed income products
- Excellent communication skills to ensure that all Traders’ books are transitioned to Asia with the required information to trade them effectively
- Solid credit analytical skills

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Prior trading and/or sales experience in Credit, Fixed Income or Macro products with a good understanding of Global Credit Markets
- Proficient statistical and technical analysis and presentation skills
