The Senior Manager, AV Production Lead will be responsible for managing the AV post-production teams across different markets in APAC and have a clear overview of the finishing work of our APAC Marcomms AV assets such as Teasers, Trailers, Social and TV spots etc. in a fast paced high-performance environment. Joining our regional APAC Marketing Production team, we require an experienced 10+ years in AV Production who is able to navigate and evolve complex tools and workflows whilst maintaining operational best practices. Someone who is passionate about all aspects of AV post production, has an entrepreneurial mindset with people’s management experience, thrives in an ever-changing environment, possesses a high level of intellectual curiosity and can demonstrate strong judgement in the face of ambiguity.
Key Areas and Skills:
LEADERSHIP
- Ability to set a clear vision for the team, aligning production goals with overall business objectives. Leading by example, inspiring the team, and creating a collaborative and creative work environment are crucial.
- Managing multiple AV projects simultaneously, often with tight deadlines and varying scope
- Nurturing and developing the skills of team members to maintain a high-performing team. This includes mentoring, providing feedback, and creating opportunities for growth and learning.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
- Understanding and respecting diverse perspectives and promoting an inclusive work environment.
- Managing production budgets and resources efficiently.
VENDOR & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- A multi-tasker to be able to oversee several different campaigns at different production stages that the team is working on.
- Define, communicate, implement and monitor technical quality standards and creative integrity on all project deliverables according to Netflix creative guidelines
- Lead with the sourcing, vetting and onboarding of finishing vendors
- Proactive, fast, and flexible problem-solver with superb time, resource, and stakeholder management.
AV PRODUCTION KNOWLEDGE
- Expert knowledge of the latest trends in AV creative, new formats, global social video ecosystems for paid social platforms, broadcast and cinema
- Able to identify and display strong judgement in order to solve day to day issues.
- Understanding of the latest AV software, formats and tooling advancements, including 4K, Dolby Atmos and HDR.
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, Audition, After Effects and Photoshop.
LOCALISATION KNOWLEDGE
- Proficient in localisation workflows, including graphic packages, subtitling and dubbing of short-form content
CROSS FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP & RELATIONSHIP
- Work closely with the APAC Marketing and PR teams, understanding and supporting local, import and export campaign implementation and localisation strategy.
- Provide upstream visibility to the Post Production team to formulate content material needs
- Provide upstream visibility to the Localisation Production team to ensure localisation strategy can be executed
- Collaborate with our Globalisation and Dubbing teams on localisation elements
- Support all internal and external teams in the adoption and evolution of our internal tools
