About the team
The mission of the TikTok Search Product team is to empower the TikTok ecosystem, connect our users to the contents. To achieve that, we are building a world class search engine, delivering best-in-the-industry search experience and associated platforms. In this team, you will have the opportunity to navigate through all types of challenges and grow in a fast moving environment, working on exciting projects that have direct impact on billions of users.
- Participate in the TikTok search product feature development, to provide the best search experience to billions of users
- Improve service performance and stability, build a robust and resilient large scale backend
- Work on offline data processing, ingest fresh data into search index with a focus on data correctness, freshness, availability and consistency
- Support the top notch search platform, to facilitate human intervention and empower operation efficiency

**Qualifications**:
Qualifications

**Qualifications**:

- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Strong in CS fundamentals (algorithms and data structures)
- Proficient in one or multiple programming languages, e.g. Go, C/C++, Java, Python, etc.
- Excellent communication and collaboration
- Experience in modern search or recommendation system
- Experience in distributed system, backend API development and related fields
- Good product sense, experience in building large scale consumer-facing product
