Operator, Production Assembly

**What do we offer?**

Grundfos (Singapore) Pte is looking for talented and motivated individual to join the Production Assembly team. The Technician will be working closely with Line Leader for Production Assembly and production engineers to provide timely technical support. In this role, you will gain good understanding of Grundfos pump products in different assembly lines. This role will be based in Singapore Plant.

**What is the job about?**

As Technician - Production Assembly, your key responsibility is trouble-shoot electrical and electronics hardware and interpret electrical drawings.

**Other responsibilities include the following activities**:

- Execute work orders as per defined work instructions and procedures, i.e. operating of machinery and equipment.
- Report to the line leader on suspected quality failures of the components, and to rectify on any non-conforming products detected or any non-conforming results during the final test and inspection.
- Any deviation of Production Bill of Materials (BOM) must be made known to the line leader for updates or rectification.
- Train and guide junior technicians on the different techniques and various work practices in the assembly & testing process.
- Perform maintenance of factory equipment as per maintenance schedule and be able to execute simple trouble-shooting of factory equipment and tools.
- Perform general house cleaning of work station and adhere to all the safety / environment rules in the company.
- Inform and propose to superior if maintenance / local calibration of factory equipment are required so as to prevent break down and down time or equipment out of calibration.
- Initiate improvement processes to enable assembly team to operate efficiently and use software programs and systems, such as SAP.
- Perform 5S and adhere to established facility safety policies, safe job procedures and hazardous risk assessments.

**What do you need to apply?**

To be considered for this position you should fulfill one of the following requirements:
GCE O level or Nitec or SPM (Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia)
