Global Procurement and Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities:
- Global Sourcing Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies for raw materials, components, and services required in the production of lead-acid batteries, lithium batteries, ESS, cart, electrical device, etc.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers to ensure a diverse and robust supply chain.
- Supplier Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements that support cost-effective and reliable supply.
- Conduct regular supplier performance assessments and implement improvement plans.
- Price Negotiation:
- Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and terms, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability.
- Monitor market trends and collaborate with suppliers to optimize pricing structures.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and assess global supply chain risks, implementing strategies to mitigate potential disruptions.
- Develop contingency plans to ensure the uninterrupted flow of materials.
- Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality standards for materials and components.
- Implement quality control measures and monitor supplier compliance.
- Logistics and Freight Management:
- Coordinate with logistics partners to optimize transportation, reduce lead times, and minimize costs.
- Streamline customs clearance processes for international shipments.
- Cost Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct regular cost analysis to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- Generate comprehensive reports on procurement performance and cost savings.
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and lead a global procurement team, fostering collaboration and providing guidance on best practices.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills of the procurement team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record (10+ years) in global procurement and supply chain management within the battery or energy storage industry.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in dealing with global suppliers.
- In-depth knowledge of battery manufacturing processes and materials sourcing.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel internationally as required.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
