**About The Role**

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Head of Risk to build strong and collaborative relationships with the business, Management Team and Board, providing solution-oriented advice and clear leadership on issues that are key to the firm and its success. The Head of Risk will support us to establish and build the company and will be responsible for the design, implementation and organizational leadership, including the design, implementation and management of Risk frameworks and processes.

**Responsibilities**
- Developing and rolling out a enterprise risk framework and associated risk assessment and monitoring methods.
- Preparing a detailed project plan to schedule key milestones, workstreams and activities.
- Implementing effective controls and monitoring risk management policies, procedures, limits and guidelines.
- Manage regulatory relationships with the relevant regional regulators (particularly MAS) and ensure business compliance with the regulatory requirements
- Ensure all required reporting is completed in an accurate and timely fashion
- Establish, lead and manage projects (non-financial risk, AML, KYC, PSA, etc.) to ensure ongoing compliance
- Advise the management on risk and governance regulatory requirements (external).
- Advise and educate internal stakeholders on internal Risk Management policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- 8-10+ years of experience in commercial risk or lending experience in financial services.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business or related field, Master’s Degree, FRM or other advanced certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of MAS (or G7 countries) regulatory compliance requirements. Knowledge in global regulatory environment/practices is preferred.
- Good understanding of traditional financial products (FX, Equities, Bonds, Derivatives, Commodities) and Digital Assets (Cryptos, Stablecoins, Loans, NFTs)
- Excellent management to work with internal and external stakeholders as well as strong leadership skills
- Hands-on entrepreneurial mindset
