Research Assistant

**The Research Assistant (RA) will be responsible to, and work closely with, the Principal Investigator and study team members to ensure the successful timely completion of the research on time. The RA’s principal role involves project management, recruitment, data collection, data entry and analysis. The RA may be required to liaise with personnel from partnering institutions in the course of his/her work.**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Patient recruitment and obtain informed consent where required
- Data collection, entry, cleaning and processing
- Manage research study databases and perform literature reviews
- Ensure accuracy & completeness of data collection
- Assist in preparing progress reports
- Track budget utilisation
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the project, such as organising regular meetings for the research team and collaborators from study sites;
- Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures;
- Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI/study team members.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in health or life sciences, nursing or related field or equivalent. Preferably with 1-2 years of experience in clinical research.
- Meticulous and able to work independently
- Good written and communication skills
- Good teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Having knowledge or experience in data analysis will be an advantage (SPSS/STATA)
- Ability to speak local major language (Mandarin, Malay, Tamil, etc) will be an added advantage
