**Job responsibilities**:

- As a member of Country Desk team under Regional Business Development Department (RBDD), you will be assigned as a co-ordinator for specific country(ies) in APAC. You will be the person representing the Relationship Managers under your coverage country at the APAC Head Quarters.
- You will be fully engaged in setting up of Annual Account Strategies and consequent engagement in deal pipelines.
- You will closely coordinate with Product offices based in Singapore and affiliate companies to capture cross border transactions and ancillary business for maximizing profitability and expanding business horizon for Asian Local Corporates, thereby meeting revenue budgets of the country/region.
- You will actively participate in the Deal Screening Committees for deals under your coverage country
- to seek business sign offs, and follow-up on cross-sell targets set for the account. You will deliver bank wide and regional strategy through such deal by deal communication with your coverage branch / country on behalf of management. Understanding of banking products and risk-return framework will be important requirements in order to help RMs sell individual deals to internal customers. Role would also need frequent deliberations with Credit Divisions to facilitate deal approvals.
- Actively work on Tiering and Balance sheet optimisation on country portfolio.
- Utilise GCIB APAC Portfolio Management system - CHUB to drive end to end execution of client initiatives.
- Being stationed at the Regional HQ, Singapore your role would involve Senior Stake Holder Management and involvement in strategic projects as directed by Global/Regional Management to achieve Medium Term Business Plan of the bank. You should be able to influence all relevant local and regional stakeholders.
- As a regional team member you should monitor the portfolio risks across Asia-Pacific to minimize any adverse impact of the financial performance of Asian local corporates. Also proactively alert management on any significant risk to performance.
- Ensure that all Business Risks are managed and reported / escalated as appropriate. Should create a culture of Zero tolerance on Compliance and regulatory affairs.

**Job requirements**:

- Minimum Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in banking products and services
- Experience handling credit /relationship management within the corporate and institutional banking sector
- Previous experience of handling credit for large corporates.
- Background in data consolidation and analysis of lending portfolio will be of added advantage.
- Great familiarity with the Asia-Pacific landscape and have experience of working across the network.
- Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Meticulous with eye for details with analytical bent of mind.
- Strong adaptability and able to work well in a team
- PC Skill; Word/Excel/PowerPoint (mid-high level), Access (preferred)
