We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Colocation Data Centre Facilities Management General Manager to lead the operations of our state-of-the-art, four-story data center building. With over 30 reporting staff members, this role presents a unique opportunity to shape the future of our data center operations. You will be responsible for the overall management and operation of our flagship data center facility. Your leadership and expertise will ensure the smooth functioning of critical infrastructure, maintain high levels of security, and exceed client expectations. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Leadership and Team Management: Oversee and lead a diverse team of over 30 staff members, including facility technicians, engineers, and support personnel. Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and safety.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure the highest standards of data center operations, including power management, HVAC systems, security, and preventive maintenance.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with colocation clients, acting as the primary point of contact for their operational needs and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize facility operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure full compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security protocols, including ISO 27001, SSAE 18, and SOC 2.
- Financial Management: Oversee the budgeting process, monitor operational costs, and implement cost-effective measures to maintain profitability.
- Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response and business continuity plans to safeguard critical infrastructure and data center operations.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the availability of critical equipment and services, negotiating contracts as needed.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain uptime and operational resilience.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (10+ years) in data center facilities management, with a strong track record of successful team leadership.
- Knowledge of data center infrastructure systems, including electrical distribution, HVAC, and security.
- Familiarity with colocation industry standards and best practices.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- PMP or relevant certifications in data center management are a plus.
