**About this opportunity**

The Clinical Protocol Specialist is part of a core team focused on the next generation of Invisalign Protocol Language and customer preference automation. You will be directly responsible for collecting doctors clinical preferences and treatment planning requirements then converting those preferences into clinical treatment planning protocol. You will own the set-up and the drive for regional implementation of customized treatment protocols for doctors.

This is an individual contributor role in APAC Business Transformation team and will report into IPL team Lead.

**In this role, you will**
- Review and mine doctor’s clinical preferences and transmit them into the Invisalign Protocol Language
- Develop treatment planning protocol via software coding and closely communicate with doctors
- Provide clinical education and support to customers about Align’s protocols, prior to doctor enrollment or when generating new planning protocol
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships and credibility with product management, clinical, development teams, and operations for implementation of the treatment planning protocols per doctor
- Provide feedback into the strategy for future automation of the Invisalign Protocol Language
- Gather and share best practices to design a system to gather doctor input for individual protocols
- Work with product marketing, development teams, and treat ops for implementation of the treatment planning protocols per doctor

QUALIFICATIONS_**
- Strong technical skills (education background) and computer skills
- Must be able to learn technical language including software coding or development.
- Proficient English to communicate dental, clinical terms with cross-functional and cross-regional team for accurate communication.
- Strong collaboration, great team player, must be able to work in a diverse, dynamic regional environment
- Work independently and effectively in remote team environment and deliver on commitment

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE_**
- Clinical Degree or equivalent or experience working with clear aligners treatment planning
- More than 3 years’ clinical experience, including global experience
- Scientific, dental or medical training or related work experience in clear aligner company/dental lab
- Understanding of dental treatment planning workflow and process is a plus

Must be willing to travel up to 10%
