Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to integrate and test mechatronic designs
- Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and other design documentation
- Evaluate and select materials, sensors, actuators, and control systems to ensure optimal system performance
- Evaluate and select materials, manufacturing processes, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and reliable designs
- Conduct testing and analysis to validate designs and identify areas for improvement
- Manage projects from conception to production launch
- Participate in the design review process and provide recommendations for improvements
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in mechatronics and robotics

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields in science or engineering
- 3-10 years of experience in mechatronic design and product development with an emphasis on robotics
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape, or equivalent
- Experience with AGVs, AMRs, and robotic systems
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Good time management and organisational skills to meet timescales and deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Having a skill set that spans across theoretical design through to hands on implementation is highly valued
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB is a plus
- Familiarity with common certifications such as CE, UL, and FCC is a plus
- Familiar with six sigma methodologies and tools is a plus
- Understanding of vision tools and calibration processes is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $5,500.00 - $6,000.00 per month
