**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Beverage Preparation**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and Burmese-inspired beverages, including **laphet yay (Burmese tea) **and other traditional drinks.
- Ensure every drink is made to the highest standard in both flavor and presentation.
- Experiment with and develop new drink recipes to showcase Burmese flavors.

**Customer Service**:

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting drinks or understanding Burmese beverages.
- Handle orders efficiently and address customer inquiries and feedback professionally.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that embodies the hospitality of Burmese culture.

**Operational Duties**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and café.
- Monitor inventory levels for ingredients, including specialty Burmese items, and communicate replenishment needs.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

**Cultural Promotion**:

- Educate customers on Burmese drink traditions and the unique stories behind the offerings.
- Collaborate with the team to organize cultural events or promotions related to Burmese heritage.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with traditional Burmese drinks or a willingness to learn and master them.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment is an advantage.
