At Umami Bioworks, we are pioneering cultivated, 'not caught' seafood by developing the production system for delicious, nutritious, and affordable cultivated fish, starting with IUCN Red Listed species that are difficult to farm and being driven extinct by human consumption. We are partnering with food producers to scale our cultivated seafood production system to provide people around the world with a stable, resilient, local supply of seafood free from mercury, antibiotics, microplastics, and ocean pollutants.

Umami Bioworks is a pioneering company in the cultivated seafood industry, dedicated to creating sustainable and ethical food solutions. As we scale our B2B marketing efforts, we’re looking for a creative and organized **Content Writer **to support our content creation and strategy.

**Role Summary**:
You will assist in developing and executing a content calendar, creating high-quality short
- and long-form content, and supporting our Marketing & Communications team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, scientific innovation, and storytelling in the B2B space.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Content Creation: Write and edit short-form content (social media posts, captions) and long-form content (blogs, newsletters, whitepapers)
- Research: Conduct research to to ensure high-quality, impactful content
- Graphic Support: Collaborate with designers to develop infographics, social visuals, or presentation materials.
- Social Media: Draft posts for LinkedIn, ensuring consistent voice and alignment with company messaging.
- Proofreading: Review content to ensure it meets brand guidelines and is error-free.

**What we are looking for**:

- A freelance writer with experience in creating different types of content, technical writing background, and a basic understanding of SEO
- Experience with LinkedIn or other B2B platforms is a plus
