To combat the worsening impact of climate change, algal bloom in seawater, and land constraints in Singapore, Aqualita Ecotechnology has developed a sustainable urban Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) that minimizes fish exposure to changes in the environment. The innovation is also scalable and versatile for fish farming. Using data-driven innovation and cutting-edge engineering design, Aqualita aims to meet the growing consumption of food fish in urban cities while reducing carbon footprint in the supply chain process.
**Overview**
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the development of connected Internet-of-Things (IoT)
- Assist in hardware integration of environmental sensors with industrial controllers, e.g., PLC, ASIC
- Assist in software programming for IoT devices and cloud services
- Analyse security of IoT devices and provide necessary upgrades to reduce security risks
- Develop remote cloud desktops and mobile apps
**Profile Required**
- Creative, analytical, and critical thinker
- Strong communication skills
- Interest in aquaculture
- Demonstrates initiative, enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic and entrepreneurial organisation.
**Qualifications**
- Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma / Degree in electronic engineering or related disciplines.
- Good to have experience in integrating IoT devices in a secure Cloud environment, e.g., course work or practical experience in your course of study
- Strong competency in various programming languages, including Python, Java, Javascript, C, C++, etc.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $2,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
