**Do you know the difference?**

Our Back Office Team is responsible for processing deals after they have been concluded by Front Office. This includes sending out deal confirmations, managing margin and collateral payments, controlling balancing group accounts as well as sending out invoices and settling deals. While performing these tasks, we are responsible for providing a comprehensive and quality checked control within the trade lifecycle process across Front Office, Back Office, Risk, Finance, Accounting and Legal.

We have a diverse commodity portfolio including power, gas emission certificates, renewables, LNG, freight, weather and biomass. The Company is also responsible for the commercial optimisation of RWE’s entire asset business and offers large industrial companies and trading partners trading-based portfolio management, long-term supply concepts and risk management solutions.

We currently have a position for a Freight Trade Support Analyst to join our Asia Pacific team in Singapore, where the key focus will be on our growing Freight business, working closely with the traders and operators of vessels. This will be within either a trading, broking or chartering context, and ensuring contracts are adhered too & settlement is timely and accurate. In addition, the team is responsible for actively contributing to further growth initiatives in Asia Pacific, including Indonesia, China, Japan & Australia where other commodities and activities will also take place and require adhoc support.

**In detail that means**:

- Able to work accurately with meticulous attention to detail and limited operational risk to the business
- A good understanding of Freight Trading and the deal lifecycle would be advantageous but not essential
- Responsible for checking the Freight trades captured in Endur and IMOS against the recap/confirmation for Time Charter, Voyage Charter and Bunker trades
- Using Jira workflow to manage the contract process from trade Recap to Working Copy
- Settlement of Freight contracts according to contractual timeframes
- Deal with most of the new, unique issues or challenges and can structure and document these so that other team members can take over

- Excellent communication skills as there is daily contact with the Traders, Operators, Finance as well as Back Office teams in both Singapore and Swindon (UK)
- You build effective relationships but also work independently
- Well-organised and capable of working to tight time-scales. On a daily basis you will need to be able to reprioritise your daily tasks to meet operational deadlines
- Actively participate in daily team meetings/discussions
- Substantial relevant work experience
- Committed to team working with good interpersonal skills
- Commercially aware and flexible in a changing work environment
- Relevant work experience in the freight business
- Degree educated or equivalent
- Intermediate Microsoft knowledge (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) is essential
- Basic knowledge of IT software (ETRM, e.g. OLF ENDUR and ERP, e.g. SAP)
