About EDB

EDB Summer Internship Programme
Every year, EDB welcomes a group of bright, driven and talented young individuals who share our vision and passion for Singapore’s economic future to join our twelve-week Summer Internship Programme, held between May to August.
Our 2025 Summer Internship Programme cycle begins from 12 May 2025 - 01 August 2025. This is a twelve-weeks internship program.
As a summer intern, you will join one of our divisions across industry development, new business, or planning and policy. You will be given ownership of a project where you are empowered to dream up and develop specific strategies and recommendations to address pertinent issues and forward-looking scenarios.
[What you will be working on]
You will have the opportunity to:
- Conduct industry and company research, expanding your industry knowledge and sharpening your business acumen across diverse sectors and global markets;- Opportunities to shadow our EDB officers in meetings with external parties like multinational corporations, institutions and key government agencies, gaining insights into industry drivers and future trends;- Engage in exclusive, thought-provoking dialouge sessions with EDB senior management;- Interact with your peers and like-minded individuals; and- Immersep yourself in our collaborative, nurturing and fun-loving culture
[What we are looking for]
Who Should Apply
The EDB Summer Internship Programme is open to Singaporean undergraduates studying Engineering, Science, Economics, Business or other relevant disciplines in recognised local or overseas universities.
You should be in your penultimate year of studies, or at least six months away from graduation at the point of internship.
Application Period
Application for the EDB Summer Internship 2025 is open from 02 December 2024 - 31 March 2025.
