**The Challenges:
- Providing care and conducting activities and wellness programs for the elderly in a center-based setting.
- Planning and conducting activities for the elderlies that promote health and wellness individually or in a group
- Supervising and assisting the elderlies to participate in exercise programme safely
- Providing assistance to elderly in basic hygiene needs, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and mobility
- Carrying out simple assessment and documentation on a daily basis
- Assisting in monitoring of vital signs
- Monitoring elderlies who need supervision for their medication consumption
- Ensuring proper housekeeping and cleanliness of activity areas and equipment
- Maintaining the inventory of equipment used
- Acting as effective member of the Senior Care Centre
- Consulting available therapist(s) to provide better care for the elderly
- Supporting and contributing to the development of the centre
- Actively continuing education and training
- Any other duties as assigned

**What it Takes:
- HMI/ITE/WSQ related study in Healthcare Support
- Relevant experiences working with the elderly or disabled is preferred
- Enjoy working with elderly clients with physical disabilities and/or dementia
- Able to multi-task and work in a physical environment that is dynamic
- Able to work with a team and adaptable to the potential need of change of job tasks
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are required and the ability to converse in major dialects is an advantage
- Physically fit to assist in transfer and mobility of the elderly
- Ablility to interact effectively with the elderly
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good team player, takes initiative
- Ablility to understand English, Chinese and simple dialects
- Ability to write in English
- Basic computer skills
