The Cello Suite is a boutique music school located in River Valley conducting individual and group cello lessons for all ages. It is one of few schools in Singapore offering lessons by a Suzuki
- certified cello teacher. We are looking for committed and passionate cello educators to join our team on a full
- and part-time basis, to grow The Cello Suite into a leading centre for cello education in Singapore.

**Job description**:

- Conduct individual cello lessons and group classes for all ages (from 4 - adults) (Suzukiand/or other methods)
- Prepare students for concerts and exams
- Draw up/ submit lesson plans for classes
- Provide timely feedback to parents about students’ progress
- Conduct theory and aural lessons, as required
- Attend relevant meetings, events and professional development sessions, as required
- Bonus: able to accompany students on the piano
- Full-timers will also be asked to organise concerts and events for students

**Requirements**:

- Believe that Every Child Can, and that everyone is able to learn and enjoy playing aninstrument. Must be passionate about music and helping people grow.
- Confident educator, good communicator, creative problem-solver, nurturing andencouraging teacher.
- Keen to constantly improve as an educator and as a musician, and open to learning toteach using the Suzuki method. Willing to accept feedback on teaching.
- Certification in cello performance (diploma, degree) or music education.Please list any experience in Suzuki teacher training, Kodály, Orff, Dalcroze, or earlychildhood education.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience is preferred
- Bonus: Suzuki-certified teacher and able to accompany students on the piano

**Availability**:
Must be open to working on weekends and/or evenings.
