Test Automation Engineer

Lendlease Digital - a new business unit of Lendlease Group, a global leader in the property and construction industry - is looking for a Test Automation Engineer with expertise in test automation tools to help us scale our products and lead our Podium Platform and Products team. We just opened $40 million Singapore Product Development Centre to drive product leadership and deliver full-featured innovative technology products across property lifecycle. About us

You’ll be working with a team of experienced developers and will help us scale our product capabilities in close collaboration with colleagues from Product Development Centres in Sydney, Australia, and Silicon Valley. You will work closely with the Product Leadership team to build technology structures and processes.

You can expect to- 100% hands-on role to test, document and write test automations scripts using test automation tools like Selenium, UFT etc.- Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.- Implement, maintain and improve test automation frameworks- Actively work with development and DevSecOps teams for integrating test automation as an integral part of Continuous delivery pipeline- Provide leadership, guidance, training and mentoring to implement test automation across the organization- Carry out test automation feasibility studies- Pro-actively seek to make continuous improvements to test coverage, execution and automation- Evaluate, select and formulate best usage of test automation tools for different purposes- Test automation script maintenance to incorporate all the latest changes to the system- Work closely with DevSecOps team to implement Continuous Testing (CT)

About you- Experience in any of the test automation tools like Selenium, UFT, Karate etc.- Hands on experience in JAVA- Proven experience in defining and operationalization of test automation strategy- Proven experience in creating and implementing test automation frameworks for large-scale systems in agile development environment- Hands-on test automation experience, in a professional software development environment- In-depth knowledge of a variety of testing techniques and methodologies- A solid understanding of BDD, continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous delivery both in principle and in practice- Expertise of agile and waterfall testing methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, Bitbucket etc.- Experience in several test automation frameworks, e.g., Selenium, Appium- Demonstrated experience developing high quality test strategies and test execution specific focus on cross browser/OS and cross device testing.- Ability to create good acceptance and integration test automation scripts and integrate with Continuous integration and code coverage tools to ensure 80% or higher code coverage.- Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking, solid communication and proven leadership skills - with the ability to lead multiple test paths simultaneously.

Nice to Have- Experience in mobile test automation tools such as Appium, Robotium, Ranorex etc.- Is familiar with cloud providers, such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure.- Performance testing experience using tools such as Gatling, Performance Center etc.
