ABOUT THE ROLE
The Global Digital and Growth Marketing team lead digital marketing across Nielsen. We partner with our commercial stakeholders to protect and build the reputation of Nielsen's brand and support the highest value revenue opportunities. We do this by clear and creative marketing and communications campaigns that engage and educate our external audiences. We generate commercial leads, help tell smart stories and create demand for our products and services.
We are looking for someone with a very strong digital marketing background, ideally in Salesforce and Pardot with a razor-sharp focus on results. This person will be a master of lead generation, partnering with the commercial teams to identify targeted buyer personas, develop creative campaigns and grow our social footprint all with the goal of generating leads and pushing them down the marketing funnel.
You’ll be part of a wider global team with your reporting manager based in the UK but will work closely with local teams independently to guide and shape growth marketing campaigns in the region. You’ll be a confident individual with good communication and able to think and operate independently and flexibly to get the job done.
Currently, the team are all working from their respective homes and the expectation is that this role will operate on a hybrid model (part home-based, part office-based) as and when the coronavirus pandemic subsides.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Champion the value of growth marketing with local teams and collaborate with them to build winning full-funnel marketing campaigns from promotion to follow-up supporting product initiatives, events, webinars and thought-leadership content.
Closely manage campaign budgets to ensure project milestones are met and that campaigns are completed both on time and within the allotted budget.
- Collaborate closely with our International Social Media Lead (based in London), supporting them with approx. 20% of your time to drive regional social media execution, including localised content creation and audience development efforts. You’ll be comfortable working with social channels and understand how our social channels fit into the overall campaign toolkit.
- Create scalable customer acquisition strategies to generate a robust marketing pipeline with a keen focus on lead generation.
- Coordinate the lead routing and follow-up processes for all campaigns, track program performance and align with key stakeholders.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee new vendor research, implementation, and selection for paid and organic advertising.
- Set campaign goals, KPIs, and direction while managing daily priorities, workflow and quality
- Leverage and optimise existing frameworks to track and report campaign-level performance
**QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS**:
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English
- 5-7 years of experience in B2B Marketing, Advertising or related business function; including people management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
- Experience within B2B marketing for a global company where you’ve worked on separate timezones to your immediate time
- A digital native with a strong technical understanding of marketing automation technology and tools, with direct experience in implementing complex multi-stage automated campaigns. Experience having worked with Pardot technology and being a confident user of Salesforce.
- Experience with organic and paid social media campaign execution, content creation, and audience development; demonstrated ability to write and package content for social
