**Your Responsibilities**:
**Aviation wildlife management**:

- **Lead Bird Surveys & Wildlife Assessments** - Conduct detailed surveys and assessments to identify species around the airport and evaluate potential wildlife hazards to aviation.
- **Develop Innovative Strategies** - Design and implement wildlife management plans focused on habitat modification, advanced deterrent techniques, and cutting-edge wildlife monitoring programs to minimize wildlife-related incidents.
- **Collaborate Across Teams** - Work closely with airport operations and management to implement effective wildlife hazard management solutions, including wildlife fencing, bird control systems, and habitat management practices.
- **Prepare & Present Expertise** - Create technical reports, deliver engaging presentations, and lead training sessions on environmental and wildlife management for staff, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
- **Investigate & Mitigate Incidents** - Provide expert consultation and participate in wildlife strike investigations and environmental emergencies to ensure effective responses and mitigation measures.
- **ICAO-Accredited Trainer** - Serve as a trainer for the only ICAO-accredited Wildlife Hazard Management course, sharing your expertise with industry professionals and advancing global standards in wildlife management.

**EMMP-related**
- **Design & Implement EMMPs** - Develop and execute comprehensive Environmental Management Monitoring Programs to assess and mitigate environmental impacts in development projects, ensuring long-term sustainability.
- **Conduct Site Inspections & Audits** - Perform regular site inspections and environmental audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards, keeping projects on track and environmentally responsible.
- **Provide Expert Guidance** - Offer actionable advice on environmental best practices, including pollution prevention, waste management, and energy efficiency, helping organizations reduce their environmental footprint.
- **Collaborate with Stakeholders** - Work closely with internal teams and regulatory agencies to identify and address environmental impacts, fostering strong partnerships to promote environmental stewardship across all projects.

**Our Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental engineering/science, ecology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in environmental consulting work e.g. EIAs, EMMPs or a related field. Project management experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with identifying local wildlife in at least one taxa.
- Excellent report writing with attention to detail as well as analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed recommendations for environmental and wildlife management strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, and build positive relationships with stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
- Proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software preferred. AutoCAD proficiency is advantageous.
- Understanding of EIA/EMMP processes and environmental regulations/guidelines is advantageous.
