The mission of the Youth Preventive Service (YPS) of the Health Promotion Board is to promote good health through early detection and intervention to reduce ill health among the school children. Youth Preventive Dental Service Division, comprising of the School Dental Service and Student Dental Centre, is one of the 3 divisions under YPS.

The School Dental Service provides oral healthcare services to school-going children to ensure that they achieve good oral health and dental fitness. The comprehensive range of services includes oral health promotion, education talks, dental screenings and treatment.

**What You Can Expect**

The role of the Deputy Director, School Dental Service, is to administer the Field Dental Clinics to ensure its smooth, efficient running and the provision of quality dental care to patients as well as to establish strategic directions and initiatives in oral health programmes for the mainstream schools. In addition, you will also supervise and provide trainings for the junior dental officers and dental therapists in their clinical work.

**Be Part of the Team**
- A basic tertiary qualification in Dentistry, BDS with a post-graduate qualification in Paediatric Dentistry or Public Dental Health with full registration with Singapore Dental Council
- Experience in health promotion/health education, child psychology and management
- Effective time management, planning and organisational skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
