Singapore SENSETIME INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. Full time

**Responsibilities**

1. Lead and drive the development of research directions across multiple science fields, drawing on extensive domain knowledge and broad scientific interests.

2. Identify and develop machine learning projects that may be deployable within key science disciplines.

3. Design, train, and optimize algorithms and deep learning models for a series of computer vision tasks, including but not limited to image and video restoration, detection, image and video understanding etc.

4. Engage in collaborations with academic partners to meet research goals.

**Minimum Qualifications**

1. A PhD degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or a Master’s degree in related field with at least 2 years of relevant industrial experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in related field with at least 4 years of relevant industrial experience.

2. Experience in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Mining or Artificial Intelligence.

3. Programming experience in C, C++ and/or Python and in deep learning framework e.g. PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.

4. Experience contributing to research communities and/or efforts, including publishing papers in Machine Learning venues (e.g., CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, and AAAI).

**Preferred Qualifications**

1. Background in contributions to open-source projects that are related to machine learning research.

2. Strong publication record in top-tier machine learning or computer vision conferences/journals, such as TPAMI, IJCV, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML and AAAI.

3. Ability to independently design, lead, and execute research projects.

**Computer Vision Engineer**

**Responsibilities**

1. Responsible for developing algorithm SDKs and micro services.

3. Responsible for cooperating with top researchers in artificial intelligence (AI) to develop and commercialize new algorithms.

4. Responsible for writing development documentation and tools.

**Minimum Qualifications**

1. A PhD degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or a Master’s degree in related field with at least 2 years of relevant industrial experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in related field with at least 4 years of relevant industrial experience.

2. Solid background in C/C++/Golang and Python/MATLAB.

3. Familiar with Linux system.

**Preferred Qualifications**

1. Ph.D. in EE, CS, and Mathematics with strong experience in algorithm development and software development is preferred.

2. Familiar with any **two **of the following areas:

- Deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow/PyTorch) and classical deep learning algorithms of detection, segmentation, and classification
- Algorithm performance optimization (SIMD/AVX)
- Parallel computing (CUDA/OpenCL)
- Stream processing (Spark Streaming)
- Platform as a Service (Docker, Kubernetes)
