EHS Specialist I

Jurong East, Singapore Labcorp Full time

Provide Environment, Health and Safety (EHS), Sustainability and Resiliency support for Labcorp Singapore location.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Administer EHS programs including but not limited to Risk Assessment and Control, Office Safety, Fleet Safety, Personal Protective Equipment, Chemical Safety, Waste Management, Fire and Life Safety, Emergency Planning, Training, etc.
- Perform hazard assessments of purchased chemicals and ensure appropriate safety measure are established
- Perform routine EHS area, facility and EHS program audits and collaborate with leaders to identify risks and develop and implement corrective and preventive solutions
- Develop and administer EHS training programs and perform EHS training.
- Respond to EHS related emergencies.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact, including waste minimization, energy and water consumption, and air emissions
- Administer and coordinate first aid and CPR programs.
- Lead or participate in facility EHS inspections.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Technical Field plus 2 years of relevant EHS experience preferably working in a laboratory or research & development environment.
- Demonstrated familiarity with EHS hazard and risk identification, evaluation and control concepts.
- Knowledge of core EHS regulations.
- Ability to perform moderate to complex level presentations, training programs, work practice documents and spreadsheet tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with significant presentation experience.
- Associate Safety Professional or similar recognized EHS related certification desired.
