**Responsibilities**
- Design and implementation of bioanalytical assays to support the manufacture of gene therapies and related materials e.g. plasmid DNA, lentiviral vectors, AAV vectors, mRNA and/or lipid nanoparticles.
- Work closely with upstream (cell culture), downstream processing and formulation departments to identify pain points that could be resolved by the development of new bioanalytical techniques.
- Write well-structured and comprehensive SOPs.
- General upkeep of the laboratory, including maintaining laboratory equipment and inventory management.

**Job Requirements**
- PhD/Master’s in Biotechnology, Bioengineering or equivalent with at least 1-3 years of experience or Bachelors in a Life Science discipline with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience with mammalian cell culture.
- Experience with either ELISA or Flow cytometry or Chromatography and/or Mass spectrometry.
- Preferably expertise in cell-based assays e.g. quantifying gene copy number, or screening for replication competent retroviruses or adventitious viruses.
- Preferably experience designing qPCR or ddPCR assays.
- Experience with process and/or formulation development will be highly valued.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Highly motivated, passion for science, committed to laboratory work and able to work flexible hours.
- Ability to multitask, work independently and team player. Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills.
- Work authorization in Singapore.
