- AstraZeneca is accelerating the expansion of our geographical footprint in rare diseases following the acquisition of Alexion in 2021. Rare diseases is a high-growth therapy area with rapid innovation and significant unmet medical need. Over 7,000 rare diseases are known today - yet less than 1% of them have an approved treatment._
- As we begin to build our position as a Rare Disease leader, we seek a Brand Manager to join our Rare Disease Business Unit in Singapore. The Brand Manager will report to the Commercial Lead of Rare Diseases Business Unit to develop and lead the AZ Rare Disease Brand strategy to the local market, including tactics and execution._

**What you’ll do**
- Your marketplace insights and patient focus will shape and direct strategic marketing plans for the product lifecycle, ensure execution of the brand plan for long-term brand success and develop clear country value propositions for patients and healthcare professions._
- An originator, you will be responsible for brand success by employing cross-functional engagement strategies, exploring new and innovative approaches to brand communications and responding to constructive feedback internally and externally._

**Essential for the role**
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years’ pharmaceutical sales experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing/sales management/strategic account management with good track record of effective implementation of plan and campaign
- In depth understanding of the Rare Disease/Specialty Care patient experience from diagnosis throughout the rest of their journey
- Demonstrable strategic and tactical approach within Rare Disease/Specialty Care
- Clear evidence of innovation leading to success
- Strong focus on effective decision making and results
- Able to work cross-functionally across different teams
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team player, organized, results oriented and independent
- Broad understanding of the commercial, operational and strategic aspects of the pharmaceutical business

**Desirable for the role**
- Experience in Rare Disease
- Portfolio management experience
- New product launch experience
- High grades in Bachelor's degree in natural sciences
- Sales leadership experience
