The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Third-Party Compliance Auditor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Conduct focused compliance assessment audits of new and existing third-party vendors and customers.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for identified risks, including contractual provisions, monitoring activities, and corrective actions.
- Review and analyze third-party contracts to ensure alignment with our risk management policies and procedures.
- Perform virtual and on-site audits at critical third-party locations.
- Stay informed on evolving regulations and industry standards related to TPRM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Internal Audit, Legal, and IT to implement and maintain effective TPRM controls.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing audits and mitigation strategies for management review.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, risk management or a related field.
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Third Party Risk Professional (CTPRP), or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of related audit and/or financial analysis experience
- Clear understanding of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), U.K. Bribery Act and other similar European and Middle East areas and international anti-bribery regulatory requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and risk management software (e.g., Archer, Workiva, etc.).
- Ability to travel Internationally as needed.
- Strong analytical skills
- Discretion to handle confidential and sensitive information.
- Spoken and written proficiency in English and Chinese
Preferred Qualifications:
- Past experience within a healthcare company
- Public/Private audit combination experience
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency in other Asia based languages, e.g. Japanese, Korean, etc.
