- Responsibilities:

- 1. Assist the team in planning & design works for civil engineering Projects (e.g. land reclamation, port construction and other coastal structures) for local and/or oversea projects
- 2. Assist the Executive Engineer / Design Manager to carry out:

- plan for Site investigation and result interpretation,
- C&S, environmental and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay wall, port, jetty, revetment and land reclamation (i.e: deep and shallow foundation, temporary and permanent retaining system, soil improvement, instrumentation, etc)
- managing sub contracts (i.e: soil investigation contract, Accredited Checker contract, biodiversity contract etc)
- managing main contracts
- Supervise both design and/or site work
- 3. Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice
- 4. Engage and manage stakeholders, such as clients, design team, site team and other relevant parties
- 5. Support on pursue project : assist in tender submission
- 6. Assist in other Coastal department activities
- Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Civil / Environmental Engineeringfrom recognised and reputable university
- Experience in contract administration is preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team player and able to multi-task
- Discipline, self-motivated and resourceful
- Have relevant experience in large-scale infrastructure and/or reclamation projects are advantageous
- Experience in contract administration will be advantageous
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite of Software (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc)
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plaxis etc will be advantageous
