\_\_Your Role\_\_

In this role you will drive the development of our air freight infrastructure and offering from a procurement and business development perspective for the Asia region

You will
- Secure capacity and develop capabilities to support Forto’s hyper growth ambitions
- Secure rate levels that allow us to deliver on our commercial targets and translate them in market attractive pricing
- Develop the network of our global partners in air freight and related handling services in line with our strategy
- Maintain and develop partnerships to drive reliability of our global forwarding infrastructure
- Shape a new air freight forwarder in the digital age by contributing with your experience to the development of an innovative product and services as part of Forto´s mission
- Support Commercial Organization in development of right customer profiles, target setting and right product mix
- Develop own strategic customers driving substantial volume as part of our growth strategy in alignment with the commercial organization

What you bring
- University degree or formal education in logistics, with decades of industry experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience in Air Freight Product with proven success
- Good carrier contact’s and procurement experience
- Experience both in import and export processes, but theoretical and practical
- Knowledge in gateway processes and all related handing partners
- Experience in multiple countries / markets in respective region
- Collaborative team player and willingness to go beyond strategy
- Willingness to challenge existing processes and think things new in the digital age
- Fluent in spoken & written English, Chinese (Mandarin) preferred
- Able to generate growth with own customer base
- High level of empathy to directly connect with all Forties and function as interface between various parties
