Marsh Tech is looking for an enthusiastic, talented Solution / Application Architect, to join our growing team in APAC region to support the technology modernization program and the development of the Technology Solutions.

This role could be based out of Singapore, with remote working also available.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Works with business needs and requirements with clients and client stakeholders in order to translate them into technical specifications; designs and manages project plans/system designs and clarifies/resolves unique and difficult issues related to client deliverables.
- Design and develop a core set of shared services that can be consumed by all divisions. Promote reuse and leveraging of existing software components and services.
- Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions that are aligned with client business objectives.
- Lead and perform difficult development tasks such as complex integrations.
- Provide technical leadership, hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to developers
- Demonstrate technical thought leadership
- Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure that code quality is at the highest level possible and appropriate design patterns are being used
- Liaises with Project Managers / Business Analysts / Group Architecture team members to collect the requirements and deliver the solutions.
- Bring a shift left mentality to delivery, ensuring that automation and efficiencies are part of the solution by default
- Ensure that Marsh technical and security standards and processes are followed throughout the SDLC lifecycle

**Required Skills, Experience**:

- Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding system designs and change requirements to drive the organization's targeted business outcomes.
- A comprehensive understanding of regulated environments, systems security and privacy.
- Has direct experience of Agile and DevOps delivery using these stacks.
- Working experience on AWS, Azure cloud based infrastructure and services.
- A reputation for personal innovation and in creating environments where others can innovate.
- Able to operate at scale and with senior stake holders.
- Working collaboratively with peers from all divisions across Marsh Tech, able to lead discussions, build consensus and encourage adoption.
- Experience of the Insurance industry or Financial Services
- A comprehensive understanding of regulated environments, systems security and privacy.
- Has a delivery focused approach.
- A lifelong learner with an appetite for change.
