Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Tasks

Equipment and Process
- Demonstrates the necessary troubleshooting skills for area equipment
- Use systematic approach to resolve “Long term down”, (LTD) equipment, executes long-term down action plans; understands when to escalate to the next level
- Understand and help improve best known methods and area documentations for maintenance and recovery procedures; mentoring other team members
- Is a contributor in session on difficult fixes and hard down situations
- Identifies and implements procedure and documentation changes
- Resolves recurring problems by identifying and eliminating root cause; follows up by writing equipment related ECNs and includes data to justify changes when appropriate
- Demonstrates an understanding of the area processes and how a change in equipment conditions can affect the process
- Collect data and mentor others to assist in Deep Dive analysis on tool performance and tool matching
- Prioritizes tasks based on immediate area needs
- Reacts appropriately to Tool trends or yield concerns escalated by 1st shift equipment and process owners

Methodology and Decision Making
- Able to utilize various software's such as Data Navigator, Klarity, SPACE, E3 for data collection and analysis
- Regularly makes decisions regarding non-routine issues using data, guidelines, procedures, experience and judgment

Team Interaction, Communication, Coaching, Mentoring and Training
- Ensures and mentors all technicians on accuracy and quality of documentation of work completed including pass downs, QDRs, and SPACE comments
- Actively listens, and can restate information for clarification or further discussion between peers, customers, 1st shift, and management
- Is a positive role model and actively drives moral in a positive direction by collaborating with team members and training others
- Demonstrates and mentor’s peers on quality workmanship through attention to detail and ensuring procedural adherence
- Provide suggestions for improvement to established training and documentation

Promote, Foster and Adhere to TPM Core Beliefs
- Is a role model for other team members and drives improvement ideas on using TPM principles (CIPs, FARs, PFCs, Tickets, Action Items, 1 Point Lessons)
- Adhere to core TPM principles for continually improving equipment effectiveness
- Fully participate and attend TPM Team meetings and utilize the Company’s Global TPM system
- Take ownership of taking up and completion of TPM actions on time and supporting the CIPs to improve WS metrics
- Maintain 6S protocol in all maintenance activities
- Engage in focus teams to resolve problems that help drive TPM metrics

Comply with Standards for Environment, Health, Safety, Security, and Business Continuity
- Communicate any problems or safety concerns immediately through the good catch system
- Promote a positive culture for safety by holding yourself and team members accountable to environmental programs and policies at MTV
- Ensure all safety and environmental compliance-related work tasks are being completed in accordance to existing requirements (LOTO, audits, training, Job Hazard Analysis, use of proper PPE, evacuation procedures)
