DESIGNATION : Manager, Facilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

NTUC Health is one of the largest community health and eldercare providers in Singapore. With a fast-growing presence, the organisation is recruiting passionate individuals who wish to serve seniors.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency in functionality, safety and comfort for all facilities, including office spaces, nursing homes, day centres and clinics. You shall also manage the maintenance of facilities and equipment, as well as project management for new premises.
- Manage the overall services provided and ensure the highest level of efficiency of facilities by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services. Including writing of work scope & specification requirements as needed for tender.
- Oversee and schedule preventive maintenance to mitigate risks and optimise the lifelong cost of equipment.
- Budget and plan for purchasing services and facilities as needed for new and current projects and maintenance.
- Propose and schedule a maintenance plan to ensure that facilities are in good order.
- Maintain and ensure high customer satisfaction level and peace of mind for elderly clients, stakeholders and the public.
- Review, propose and plan for energy efficiency usage and reduction of overall waste in facilities.
- Manage and oversee projects to ensure safety standards and upkeep of regulatory or compliance standards for new and current facilities.
- Monitor the facility upkeep, guarantee the safety and quality, prepare and present reports on quality of facilities.
- Conduct full field and environmental audits periodically and present reports to business units.
- Manage vendor contractors to ensure the performance is met.
- Manage business units service requests, prepare monthly summary reports and meet the service level agreement standard.
- Facilitate business unit to be onboard with MOHH Preventive Planned Maintenance Regime.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Reporting Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical, Building & Projects or Facility management discipline.
- Open-minded and multi-disciplined with working experiences in healthcare, nursing home or relevant is preferred.
- Interpersonal and communication skills to prepare and present to the management team.
- Well-read and aware of the latest trends and developments in the industry sectors related to the projects assigned.
- Project management skills, negotiation skills and experience in managing and leading teams.
- Ability to maintain good relationships with vendors.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Safety Manager, Risk Assessment
