Our client is a Japanese company who are focusing on freight forwarding services, trucking and warehousing, as well as import/export. Currently, they are looking for Customer Service for the transport department to support the sales teams and liaise with the operations for distribution and delivery.
- The job scope also includes planning, arrangement, and monitoring of the deliveries and shipments of the loose cargo.
- 【 What you will be doing 】- Handling all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Handling LCL documentation
- Monitor vessel schedule via PSA PortNet, SATS or SIA
- Ensure all customers’ standard operating procedures are followed and updated
- Liaison work with drivers, customers, external vendors etc
- Manage all customer enquiries
- Resolve operational issues encountered
- Plan, arrange and monitor the deliveries and shipments of the loose cargo
- Identify any risk factors that may impact efficiency and safety during transport execution
- Coordinate closely with the drivers and team of internal coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient transportation
- Review daily transport operational activities and ensure all delivery activities are carried out within schedule in a very efficient and cost-effective manner
- Schedule vehicles for routine servicing/repairs / LTA inspection
- Meet compliance at all times
- Perform any ad-hoc tasks/projects as assigned

**Requirement**:

- (Must)- Experience working in freight forwarding, shipping, supply chain and logistics
- Familiar with PSA PortNet, SATS or SIA
- Reasonable knowledge of Singapore roads, yard and port operations
- Proficient in English and Mandarin is essential to communicate with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders

(Preferable)- Ability to perform in a fast-paced and performance-driven environment
- Able to work well under pressure, handling complex customer demands.
- Able to join ASAP or within 1 month's notice preferred**English Level**:
