Director, PMO

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop the PMO into a center of excellence for project management to provide guidance and coaching to novice or new project managers who need to understand how UCT runs projects.
- Develop a set of competency requirements to qualify UCT Project Managers.
- Manage a common set of practices, principles, and templates for managing projects.
- Ensure that the standards and templates are followed by performing regular assessments of projects.
- Manage PMO management reporting, gather project data, and produce information for management review.
- Track the status of all projects within the PMO, based on updates from the project managers. Standardize the way information is compiled and reported to management.
- Define and use a standard project dashboard to provide a clear way to keep track of the status of projects.
- Continuously improve project portfolio management approach (PPM) that the PMO manages and facilitates.
- Keep an up-to-date repository of projects underway and requests pending review.
- Manage a resource capacity plan or resource forecast to help understand resource availability for projects.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other related fields, MBA or master's level education preferred.
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification required.
- 12 to 15+ years of experience in Project Management.
- PMO experience in manufacturing-related industries (Semiconductor/ Electronic/ Devices/ Contract Manufacturing or others) **is a must**.
- Led PMO teams regionally or globally.
- Managed project budgets of over 10 million dollars.
- Global cross-functional team leadership and management skills.
- **Advantageous (not a must) to have background in manufacturing plant construction in the semiconductor or related industry.**
