As a Service Technician/Engineer, you will be responsible for executing service work with low to medium complexity according to work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines. Reporting to Workshop Manager, you will be delivering quality customer service to satisfy customers. In close co-operation with customer and other ABB teams, take actions to identify new service business opportunities for ABB. This position is based in Singapore.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Executing workshop motor & generator inspection and service work, either individually or in team, according to the predefined workflow and job quality
- Preparing reports with a list of abnormalities and faulty parts discovered during the inspection work
- Working with QC to troubleshoot and proactively resolve the quality issue surfaced during the test run of the motor serviced
- Carrying out failure analysis study on motor which customer want to identify the root cause of failure
- Supporting ad-hoc onsite motor/generator service work i.e. bearing replacement, alignment, as per requested by supervisor

**Your background**:

- Diploma or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical engineering
- 1- 2 years of experience in motor/generator service or other relevant machinery
- Good hand on skill for dismantling and assembly of machines which involve lifting work
