Acquisitions Editor

We are looking for a driven, language-savvy and life science-oriented individual to be a full-time acquisitions editor in our editorial team.

**Responsibilities**
- Acquire new book proposals from prominent authors in Life Science and Biomedical topics.
- Develop and manage new and existing STM journals.
- Adept and trained in the understanding of this area of science.
- Responsible for full editorial process from manuscript to publication, which includes liaising with authors, reviewers, typesetters, printers and designers for both book and journal publications.
- Any ad hoc projects as and when required and assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in Life Science and Biomedical fields.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, analytical skills, and excellent interpersonal skills at all levels.
- Ability in managing multiple projects simultaneously amid tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to work independently  as well as a team.
- Prior experience in academic publishing will be given preference.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $2,800.00 - $3,800.00 per month
