**What the role is**

Lecturer / Diploma in Mechatronics

**What you will be working on**
- Conduct lessons to both full time diploma students and part time adult learners and carry out all relevant responsibilities related to the job roles.
- Supervise student projects and internships in partnership with industry in these areas.
- Adopt the use of IT resources and multimedia platform for lesson facilitation.
- Counsel, coach and mentor students to support their learning, participation in competitions, career guidance and personal development.
- Undertake academic related administration and committee work, and support outreach activities, local/overseas community projects and study trips.
- Plan, lead, manage and develop projects with industry partners, student internships and capability development.
- Develop students holistically in areas such as career readiness and leadership.

**What we are looking for**
- Qualification in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Manufacturing / Electronics / Electrical / Computer Engineering or related fields, with at least 3 years of relevant industry experience in the respective field. A post-graduate degree will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge and experiences with design machining processes relating to conventional manufacturing to CNC machining, subtractive and additive manufacturing.
- Good knowledge and experiences with industrial automation, Machine Vision, Pattern Recognition, AI and Machine Learning will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with technologies related to industry 4.0 implementation, knowledge of semiconductor industry, and possess skills of integrating IT and OT systems is an added advantage.
- A self-starter who works well in cross-functional capacities.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
- Flexible, embrace life-long learning and has a growth mind set.
- A team player with good interpersonal communication and documentation / presentation skills.
- Passion and genuine interest to share knowledge and interact with young minds.
