**Main tasks and responsibilities**
The _Sales Manager, Oil & Gas, _is responsible for developing and maintaining water/wastewater treatment markets for all DNWT products in the upstream Oil & Gas production, offshore rig, and production facility construction sectors.
- Develops and implements plans to increase the market share of assigned products or market through communications with end-users in Upstream Oil & Gas Companies and Shipyards, such as Project Owners, Design Institute, Consultants and Engineering firms (EPC’s), Contractors and other commercial/industrial companies, including distributors or representatives.
- Seeks out and researches prospective projects and opportunities directly or through sales channels and, when necessary recommend the development of new and alternative sales channels.
- Write and present reports in English that will be reviewed by management.
- Drives the process to find and develop major projects and new opportunities by developing sales strategies working with the Company’s sales management, through direct selling, and utilizing external sales representatives’ networks.
- Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key purchasing decision-makers and influencers.
- Keeps Company management informed of business conditions, which may affect the offshore and onshore Oil & Gas markets.
- Provides external leadership for the Oil & Gas market and associated products by actively participating in trade shows, equipment seminars, and training activities.
- Ensures that profit margins are maximized by offering opinions and strategies needed to successfully close product and service orders at the highest possible margin.
- Tracks the status of projects, including the update of the Company’s sales database software preparing spreadsheets and reports that track monthly business activities, and project status.
- Maintains close contact with the Client’s key person(s) throughout the project development stage, proposal stage, the final selection process, the closing, and delivery of the order.
- Procures all necessary documents to allow Company to review a project and submit bids.
- Requests and guides the Company to complete bid forms, bond requests, contract checklists, including expediting appropriate corporate signatures.
- Provides technical and commercial direction for proposals.
- Assists in the development of written materials, proposals, and price quotations.
- Attends pre-bid and site meetings whenever necessary.
- Presents the proposals to potential clients.
- Conduct and finalize in full autonomy, and per the Company’s guidelines, contractual negotiations with Oil & Gas companies and Shipyard’s Purchasing Entities such as Tender Committees and Purchasing Officers for Public and Private sectors.
- Directly be involved and held responsible for securing orders in accordance with the Company’s guidelines.
- Performs follow-up with clients to ensure that the performance of the product and Company is satisfactory.
- Assists in the evaluation of lost projects to increase contract wins.
- Understands and adheres to all Company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job functions.
- Makes sales presentations to potential Clients, Consultants, EPC’s and General Contractors.
