**Roles & Responsibilities**

**VIKING ENGINEERING PTE LTD **has been servicing the marine, oil & gas industry in South East Asia and Worldwide for 45 years. Our services have expanded steadily due to demand.

**MECHANICAL & AUTOMATION SERVICE ENGINEER**

**Responsibilities**:

- Repairing, inspection, servicing, commissioning/installation of steam-and gas turbines and rotating machineries for ships, LNG conversion and power generation.
- Cryogenic equipment services
- Bulk material handling conveying system
- Automation & instrumentation service and calibration.
- Control system service/trouble shooting (PLC).
- Assembly manufacturing of panels.
- Boiler auto-combustion control and auto feed water control and burner overhauling.
- Willingness to work hands-on in marine, oil & gas industrial environment and work overtime (with overtime compensation in accordance with MOM Practices).
- Able to travel overseas (with paid allowance) at short notice.

**Requirements**:

- NTC/Diploma//Degree or equivalent
- Mechanical Engineering/Marine Engineering

(Mechanical Service Engineer).
- Automation & Instrumentation/Mechatronics

(Automation Service Engineer).
- With or without experience in related industry or sea-going experience.
- Good communication skills at all levels, from workers to Chief Engineer/Supt.
- Good command of English to write Service report and able to speak Mandarin with overseas clients.
- Competitive Salary
- Class 3 Driving licence an advantage
- Working hours: 5 day/week 0800-1700 hours. On SMM Matrix during present Pandemic
