**Position**:Vice President, TMT& Healthcare - based in Singapore**

**Reporting to**:Functionally to Regional Lead, Technology & Media, Singapore**

**ROLE SUMMARY & PROFILE**

**Overview**

The TMT & Healthcare sector cluster with ING Wholesale Banking has the mandate to develop wholesale banking business for ING in these two sectors globally. The sector team is responsible for developing business with clients in these sectors by providing financing, advisory services and other wholesale banking products & solutions to clients through its teams based in Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas. In the Asia Pacific region, the team is predominantly based in Singapore with the Healthcare lead being based in Hong Kong.

We are seeking to recruit an experienced, numerate, and articulate employee at Vice President level in Singapore who would enjoy the challenge of working with a high performing team in the TMT & Healthcare sector. You will work closely with existing sector colleagues based in Singapore, Hong Kong and Sydney as well as with with other teams within the bank.

The role requires an individual who is entrepreneurial, a self-starter, has strong analytical skills, is numerate, has strong written and oral communication skills and can work collaboratively with others. Prior sector and corporate/investment banking experience, a good credit, structuring and analytical grounding would be preferred.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Helping with cross-selling the bank’s other products and services such as financial markets, debt capital markets, transaction services and corporate finance advisory services.
- Taking responsibility for the delivery of annual credit reviews and coordinating portfolio maintenance / monitoring and portfolio administrative activity as required.
- Working on other adhoc requirements on various client or deal related or administrative matters, and special projects as needed.
- Coordinating and helping develop business development material, current view of recent transactions, market benchmarks, economic and industry trends, and gathering relevant research. Materials include pitch books, industry reports, comparative tables and league tables as well as updating relevant credentials.

**(B) Specific knowledge & skills**:
The key requirement for this role is to be able to develop and manage client relationships and coordinate/manage deal execution under the guidance of PAMs/senior bankers. Strong analytical skills are required, together with the ability to work within a cross-product team. Credit experience is preferred, together with an understanding of documentation and ING systems. Sector experience is strongly preferred.

**(C) Other important pre-requisites**:

- Graduate or post-graduate degree holder in Business/Finance/Economics or other relevant disciplines
- Approx. 6-9 years of investment / corporate banking experience (or other relevant field).
- Strong financial analysis capability and good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in structuring, credit & deal execution in TMT and healthcare transactions in corporate/investment banking.
- Understanding of legal documentation.
- Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
- An effective team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-starter with high level of self-motivation.
