(Senior) Accreditation Officer, Accreditation

[What the role is]
You will join a vibrant team to develop, manage and promote the accreditation schemes of the Singapore Accreditation Council (SAC). You will manage accounts and conduct assessments of conformity assessment bodies (CABs) such as testing and calibration laboratories, inspection bodies, certification bodies, auditing organisations and verification bodies across different schemes and sectors such as building and construction, food, medical, sustainability and ICT.
[What you will be working on]
As a member of the team overseeing the national accreditation function, you will also need to understand the industry and develop strategies and action plans to support the quality and accreditation landscape in Singapore. You will be involved in the promotion of accreditation and engagements with the industry and regulators. Other responsibilities include the organisation of dialogues / workshops to help benchmark the practices of accredited CABs, secretariat functions, as well as management of external volunteers and stakeholders to support the accreditation framework.
[What we are looking for]
A degree in Engineering or Science is preferred. Good appreciation and exposure to quality management systems and standards as well as industry and business development functions will be advantageous. You must be confident, self-driven and be able to work independently. You should also possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to interact with people at all levels. Ability to work in a highly driven team is also an asset.
