Marketing Manager Asia Ex Japan, State Street

This is an opportunity for a well-rounded and autonomous marketing professional with existing insights into the intermediary and institutional market segments. The role will collaborate with business leaders, members of SPDR Sales Team and other internal teams on marketing strategy from conception to execution.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Developing an annual marketing plan that supports the SPDR ETF Asia ex Japan business plan
- Create and drive client relevant, scalable and repeatable integrated marketing programs utilizing the full marketing mix: PR, direct marketing, events, website, advertising and content
- Partner with stakeholders on product materials, product positioning, capabilities messaging, presentations, web presence and segmented communications
- Development and updates of collateral, videos, web content, sales tools and educational materials, including managing translations to Traditional Chinese of these items
- Coordinating, planning and booking proprietary and sponsored events for the Asia ex Japan market (including monitoring for third party events / new opportunities)
- Measure and optimize marketing campaigns to ensure effectiveness and target audience reach
- Manage the marketing budget against marketing plans
- Collaborate with PR team to create earned media opportunities
**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in marketing or related field is desirable and any post graduate qualification would be highly regarded
- Five to seven years of relevant marketing experience; previous financial services or product marketing experience preferred
- Ability to work both at a strategic level and a tactical level ensuring the strategic marketing vision is brought to life. Must be hands-on.
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese
- Knowledge of asset management sector/products, experience with ETFs preferred
- Demonstrated ability to confidently interact with and influence stakeholders
- Excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate to drive results
- Strategic thinker, creative in approach
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
