PURPOSE
- As a BA Manager you will be responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the business to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver solutions or recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders.
- Engage with business leaders and users to understand how changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies and add value to the organization and meet company goals and objectives. You must articulate ideas and also balance them against what’s feasible and is an optimum solution keeping cost in view.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Be a self-starter, highly motivated, possess analytical thinking, and be a driver to support business initiatives using technology.
- Work Closely with different departments like, NB, UW, Claims, Actuary, finance, reporting, data, technology team and help plan and deliver the business initiatives planned for the year.
- Prepare road map of activities for the whole year related GI line of business and maintain the initiatives delivery pipeline.
- Drive and support large scale enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Liaise with various departments to align the deliverables and solutions for the mentioned initiatives.
- Provide inputs to business teams, cross functional teams, development team on how to work towards achieving the business goals and objectives.
- Ensure all risks associated with the project deliverables are tracked, monitored and escalated to the right stakeholders for decision making.
- Provide guidance and training to peers and other team members.
- Ensure that the solution delivered confines to all the defined standards.
- Ensure traceability of the work carried out and all necessary artefacts produced during the software development life cycle comply to the company policy and procedures.
- Prepare solution design documents and ensure that solution design meets the business initiatives and its objectives.
- Provide innovative solutions to issues/problems and be able to drive the change and remove any impediments.
- Works under general direction within broadly defined framework.
- Builds collaborative work relationships across the organization and design and develop solutions which are scalable and meet the business objectives and help in achieving the company defined KPI’s.
- Ensure that initiatives defined comply to the defined budget, scope and quality.
- Assumes responsibility for planning and executing assignments.
- Drives direct work to resolve complex business issues through sharing in-depth knowledge and experience.
- Makes operational decisions on policies, tactics critical to the function’s business success.
- Builds and maintains partnerships with key decision makers within the organization as we well as outside the organization.
- Assumes responsibility for delivery of quality outcomes of complex and business critical projects integrating client needs, strategic business goals of the function and financial objectives.
- Facilitator for the prioritization process for work requests.
- Drive the workshops to scope the identified projects. Recommend an approach to drive rapid completion of all high-level requirements and required milestones.
- Developing, monitoring and maintaining implementation plans of all major projects undertaken.
- Expertise in gathering requirements and assigning those to different categories.
- Drive the prioritization activity of the projects.
- Expertise in requirements planning, management and communication to all stakeholders.
- Highly proficient in solutions assessment and validation.

- Proficient in Business process re-engineering and able to drive cost effective solutions.
