**Application / Team Overview**:
Citibank® Commercial Cards offers card-based payment solutions to large corporations and federal and state governments for the procurement of goods and services as well as travel, entertainment, and fleet related expenses. Commercial Cards' strategic objective is to compete and differentiate on the basis of global capability and customized solutions for high-value customers.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15+ years of experience working on complex projects.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in leading globally distributed teams successfully
- At least 8 years of hands-on experience delivering solutions using Open shift, SOLACE preferably in the financial services sector.
- Expertise in building and implementing complex API solutions

**Technical / Functional Proficiency**:

- Demonstrated excellent software development skills. Strong experiences in implementation of the following technologies: Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, JPA, App Server
- Advanced competency in domain driven design and Microservices development using Open Shift and Dockers
- 10+ years of experience in design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot complex APIs and policies on APIGEE or APIM
- Experience in supporting APIs through the entire lifecycle and good understanding of KPIs for externalized APIs
- Have a good understanding of the critical components for an API platform, in particular, design principles around API versioning and experience in developing version less API
- Thorough understanding of Identity protocols such as oAuth, SAML and OpenID and experience in implementing the same
- Experience in Swagger/ Open API and knowledge of smart docs and on boarding APIs to developer portal
- Experience with design and development of REST APIs using Java, SOLACE, Micro-services architecture, APIGEE or APIM and exposing them to external clients
- Experience in API layer security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, request and response modifications etc. using APIGEE/APIM
- Advanced competency in java, spring, object-oriented design and data structures
- Strong understanding of object oriented analysis and design, design patterns, high availability and concurrent programming
- Experience in building enterprise transaction based system with focus on recovery, stability, reliability, scalability and performance.
- Experience in performance tuning of large technical solutions with significant volumes
- Experience with API Sandbox technical build and deployment
- Strong UI/web programming languages (such as JavaScript, JSP, Angular JS) and database experience (Oracle/SQL)

**Leadership Skills**:

- Responsible for providing technical leadership of multiple large scale/complex global software solutions
- Experience of developing teams of permanent employees and vendors from 15 - 20 developers in size
