**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Workplace Safety & Health Documentation**:
Assist in the establishment and maintenance of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) documentation and records in accordance with relevant WSH legislation and regulatory requirements.
- **Risk Assessment & Method Statements**:
Review method statements and risk assessments (as required) to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and subsidiary legislation.
- **Compliance Inspections & Audits**:
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with WSH regulations, safety management systems, and client requirements.
- **Daily Safety Inspections**:
Carry out daily inspections to identify unsafe conditions and work practices. Recommend and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- **Hazard Control Support**:

- **Audit & Emergency Preparedness**:
Support the conduct of internal and external HSSEQ audits, client assessments, and authority reviews. Coordinate and participate in emergency drills, tabletop exercises, and security drills. Ensure timely follow-up and closure of safety actions.
- **Fire Safety & Emergency Equipment Maintenance**:
Coordinate with vendors and contractors to maintain emergency and fire safety equipment. Perform and document monthly fire alarm testing.
- **HSSEQ Training**:
Plan, develop, and conduct HSSEQ-related training sessions for staff, visitors, contractors, and hauliers.
- **Incident Management**:
Respond to non-conformities, near misses, and incidents. Support investigations, identify root causes, and recommend corrective measures. Ensure prompt follow-up and closure of related actions.
- **Site Security Oversight**:
Oversee site security operations and manage coordination with the appointed security agency providing 24-hour coverage.
- **General Duties**:
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Provide support by covering for absent team members when required.

**Job Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years' experience, preferably in manufacturing, warehousing, or logistics
- At least 1 year of experience on Jurong Island; able to work on-site
- Strong attention to detail with hands-on operational background
- Comfortable working at height and climbing cat ladders
- Proficient in MS Office and in-house systems
- Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude

**Qualifications**:

- Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) or relevant safety certifications
- Completed WSH Coordinator Refresher Course
- Confined Space Assessor certificate (advantageous)ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 Internal Auditor trained (advantageous)
