**Your key tasks will be to**
- provide on-site coordination and oversight of the construction methods and activities performed by the contractor
- oversight of all matters pertaining to the project status at the yard, including tracking of compliance with project KPI's and contractor performance
- acting as the go to problem solver on site for any questions or issues brought up by the contractor
- be responsible for the execution of the construction /fabrication scope of the substation at site
- be responsible for all matters pertaining to project development and construction of offshore substations
- be responsible for starting up the project where you handle the overall project requirements and manage time, scope, vendors, deliveries, quality, tenders, contracts, claims, interfaces, HSE, resources, risks and stakeholders
- ensure team performance of project sub-groups in cooperation with the line organisation
- ensure technical documentation of the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning, safety philosophy, inspection plan, decommissioning and abandonment plan
- close down the project and hand over the assets to our Operations
- be responsible for managing and motivating the project team, enabling them to become a high performing team able to deliver within scope and on time.

**Your qualifications and core competences include that you**:

- have a degree in engineering or similar depending on yard/site management experience
- proven track record in safety performance and leadership
- have extensive experience with site and project management of multi-disciplinary, offshore large-scale construction projects, preferably from the offshore wind and/or oil and gas industry
- proven understanding and experience in managing site work under EPCI contracts
- strong intercultural skills related to previous projects in APAC, thriving in a fast-paced and diverse international environment bringing together various employee groups, nationalities, cultures and authorities
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, mastering English at negotiation level
- have a result oriented approach to your work and are able to motivate your colleague
- proficient in stakeholder-, schedule-, quality
- and people management
