Basketball League Coordinator

This is a hybrid role including working from home, around Singapore, and travel opportunities to neighbouring countries as required.

**Business Development & Growth**
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to establish and scale the basketball league.
- Identify and secure partnerships with sponsors, advertisers, and community organizations to drive revenue.
- Build relationships with local gyms, schools, and community centers for league facilities.
- Research and analyze market trends to optimize league offerings and expand participation.
- Develop membership and team fee structures to ensure financial sustainability.

**Marketing & Brand Development**
- Oversee the development of the league’s brand identity, including logo, website, and promotional materials.
- Organize promotional events, open gyms, and information sessions to generate buzz and recruit participants.

**League Operations & Management**
- Organize and manage all league logistics, including team registration, scheduling, and game-day operations.
- Develop and enforce league rules, policies, and safety guidelines.
- Hire and coordinate referees, scorekeepers, and other event staff.
- Ensure a high-quality game experience for players, spectators, and sponsors.

**Community & Player Engagement**
- Build a strong community presence through networking, partnerships, and direct outreach.
- Foster a competitive yet inclusive environment to encourage both recreational and serious players to participate.
- Manage player and coach relations, addressing feedback and resolving conflicts as needed.

**Financial & Administrative Responsibilities**
- Oversee league budgeting, financial planning, and revenue streams.
- Track registration payments, sponsorships, and operational expenses.
- Develop long-term sustainability plans to expand the league into new locations or divisions.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in business development, sales, or sports management.
- Strong knowledge of basketball rules, league operations, and competitive structures.
- Excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong marketing and social media management experience.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle on-site issues.
- Proficiency in event planning, budgeting, and sponsorship acquisition.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends to support league operations.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience launching or growing a sports league, tournament, or business.
- Background in sponsorship sales, fundraising, or community engagement.
- Familiarity with sports management software and online marketing tools.

Pay: $3,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month
