**Job Description**:
QUICKLY - UI/UX + FRONTEND DESIGNER / CODER (INTERNSHIP)

Hybrid - Bishan HQ - Task-Based - 2-3 in-office afternoons / week

WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Wireframe & Prototype - Turn feature briefs into low-fi Figma frames, then hi-fi interactive prototypes.
- Component-Level UI Build - Code responsive React components (ShadCN or vanilla Tailwind) that follow our design tokens & accessibility checklist.
- Design Systems - Grow our token palette, icon set & motion guidelines; document everything in Storybook.
- User Testing Loops - Launch clickable prototypes, run 5-minute guerrilla tests with real students & business owners, then distill insights.
- Polish & Handoff - Create concise PRs, write component stories, cover states / edge cases / empty screens.

YOU MIGHT BE OUR FIT IF YOU
- Are pursuing / just finished a Diploma or Degree in Design, HCI, CS, or similar
- Have 1 live or portfolio project in React (or any modern front-end framework)
- Know mobile-first responsive design & Tailwind (or another utility CSS)
- Speak Figma: components, auto-layout, variants
- Care about clean UX copy, AA contrast, keyboard nav & performance budgets
- Like sketching ideas on paper / Excalidraw before opening pixels or code
- Are comfortable with Git PRs & a dash of TypeScript (we’ll mentor if you’re new)

Bonus points for:

- Motion design (Framer Motion / Lottie)
- Astro Islands or any static-first JS meta-framework
- Accessibility tooling (axe-core, Lighthouse)
- Using AI tools (e.g. GPT) for micro-copy & ideation
