Gallery Specialist

**Our team is growing**

28 Fevrier is a local gallery representing pieces from artists in the region. The collection celebrates cultural moments in Asia, such as supporting of the mural artist behind the Samsui woman painting, and introducing various alternative mediums - such as graffiti, stencil, silk-stitching, to calligraphy, that enriches Singapore’s native art horizons.

The gallery is currently set within Singapore’s few conserved black-and-white colonial houses.

(i) RESPONSIBILITIES OVERVIEW
- Has existing networks that would form pipeline for alternative investments
- Able to educated and convert interest into sales
- Generate demand with events and workshops to cultivate customer relationships and promote art appreciation.
- Develop and execute strategies that enhance the visibility of our art offerings.
- Utilise online social media and offline networks and platforms to connect with potential customers and build a community of art enthusiasts.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our collection, including artists, techniques, and current trends in the art market.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the visual merchandising of the gallery to create an inspiring shopping experience.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with restocking as needed. Gather customer feedback to help inform future inventory and marketing strategies.

(ii) QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in generating sales of art, or alternative assets
- Good to have: Existing networks or platforms with interest to alternative assets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Creative mindset with an ability to think outside the box to drive demand.
- Basic math proficiency
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: $1,086.65 - $9,636.06 per month

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
